EHLP HOMEOWNER APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED

The deadline for The Emergency Homeowners’ Loan Program (EHLP) has passed for the HUD-administered program, and is no longer accepting Pre-Applicant Screening Worksheets from homeowners. Homeowners living in an EHLP-designated state (see list below) who were not able to submit a screening worksheet before the September 15, 2011, deadline should speak with a housing counselor to identify all foreclosure prevention options available. To locate a counselor serving your community or region, go to FindaForeclosureCounselor.org. Homeowners who reside in one of the five Substantially Similar EHLP States (see list below) may still be able to submit applications for program assistance. Continue reading for further information.
